"I contacted Nero Directly over the phone. Sorry for the misleading information folks. We have beaten this to death with Hp online help and to no avail. There is no doubt that using the Nero website installation does get it up and running (at least it did for me), but during the installation, the "hbqscnvw.exe" file (that enables the scanning device to fuction) gets lost. After telling everyone I found a way to make Nero 7 work with Vista, I come to determine that everything works except for the actual scanning interface. Below is information I posted that is partially incorrect.
